Bed Bug Spray

Bed Bug Expert Bill Carlson Explains How to Use Bed Bug Spray

Bed bug sprays that are natural are a must when treating for bed bugs. As we enter this bed bug “epidemic” it will take three steps to gain control over these blood-feeding pests. Step one is to learn to avoid infestation or prevention. Protect your luggage and self from infestation when traveling. Inspect hotel rooms and second hand furnishings before entering your home or office. Step two we must educate ourselves on bed bugs. If we know what they look like and can recognize them, we can take the appropriate measures to avoid infestation or treat an infestation. Step three is of course elimination. Once we have the first two steps down we can be proactive in measures to prevent and stop bed bug infestations.

There are all natural bed bug sprays on the market that will help fight bed bug infestation. Bed bug sprays such as Bed Bug Patrol use all natural plant extracts that kill bed bugs within minutes of application. The bed bug spray should be applied in an appropriate step-by-step process to ensure that it is fully effective. An infested area should be inspected; clothing removed and laundered, mattresses and box springs checked as well as all other furnishings within the infested area.

Visible bed bugs should be vacuumed and the bad discarded immediately after completion. Cracks and crevices should be steamed, as the extreme heat will kill the eggs, larvae and adults. Next spray the vacuumed and steamed areas with bed bug spray to eliminate any bed bugs that may have been missed. Cover the mattress and box springs with a bed bug mattress encasement and treat the remaining furnishings in a similar manner.

The bed bug spray is most effective when used in the step-by-step process of elimination as well as in conjunction with fossil shell dust, which also kills bed bugs through dehydration. Bed bugs can be eliminated through safe and effective means. It is through avoidance, recognition and elimination that we can reduce the bed bug population and once again sleep soundly.
